Cookie Policy
This page explains what cookies Granetra uses, why we use them, and how you can control them. It works alongside our Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember information about your visit, like whether you're signed in or which theme you prefer.
2. Types of cookies we use
- Essential. Required for the site to function β keeping you signed in, remembering your cookie choice, and protecting against fraud. These can't be switched off.
- Performance & analytics. Help us understand how the site is used so we can find bugs and improve it.
- Marketing. Used, where permitted, to measure the effectiveness of our own marketing. We don't use these to sell your data to third parties.
3. The specific cookies and storage we use
To be transparent, here's what we actually set. Some of these are technically stored in your browser's local storage rather than as classic cookies, but we list them here so you have the full picture:
- Session & authentication (essential) β set when you sign in to keep you logged in securely as you move around the dashboard. Cleared when you sign out.
- Your cookie choice (essential) β remembers whether you accepted or rejected non-essential cookies so we don't ask on every visit.
- Theme preference (essential) β remembers whether you chose the light or dark theme.
- Analytics (performance) β set by PostHog to measure how the site and product are used, in aggregate, so we can find bugs and improve. Only set once you've accepted non-essential cookies.
The chat widget you may embed on your own site is designed to run without setting any tracking cookies on your visitors' devices.
4. Your choices
When you first visit Granetra, a banner lets you accept or reject non-essential cookies. You can change your mind at any time by clearing your browser's site data for granetra.com, which brings the banner back. Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies directly β see your browser's help pages for how.
5. Changes to this policy
If we make a meaningful change to how we use cookies, we'll update this page. The date at the top always reflects the latest revision.
